The Sower Soweth

Read what Jesus has to say about the sower in Mark chapter 4 beginning in verse 1 through 20. Jesus considers this doctrine and parable so important to our understanding of how the Kingdom of God and the Word of God operates that He emphases His point by asking His Disciples a question. Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? In other words, Jesus is saying, What? If you do not understand this parable, how will you be able to understand any parable?

The key to understanding this parable of Jesus is to understand the parable of the sower. In verse 26, Jesus goes on to say, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground.

Read it all for yourself and find out what Jesus has to say about the word of God and the Kingdom of God. Then ask God to help you understand this portion of scripture with your whole heart as you meditate on His Word.

I taught a series of Sundays on this subject almost 35 years ago called "The Sower Sows The Word" that is just as powerful today as it was then. Listen to them, it will bless you and dramatically change your way of hearing God's word. Expect new revelations from His Word when you do.
