Deliverance - Your "KEY" to Victory!

Dearly beloved, we read in Psalms 34:19 that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them out of them all. Brothers and sisters, did you know the Lord still delivers today. He delivers those that truly want to be delivered and not just those that think it would be nice to be delivered. I am talking about real deliverance that puts you back in control of your life. It does not matter what you need deliverance from, unless you really want deliverance deep down in your heart you will never be delivered. Unless you are willing and ready to cooperate with the Lord by doing something about your situation, I am sorry to say, you are not ready to be delivered yet.

There are many everyday addictions that fall into the category of afflictions that the Lord wants His people delivered from. Some might say that they are not addicted to drugs or alcohol and that they just need a little help getting rid of some bad habits. Others will even say that they are not addicted to anything and they do not have any bad habit either and that is great, glory to God. But let's be honest here, everyone needs deliverance from something and if they are not sure what it is, there are plenty of people that could offer suggestions.

Whether you call them bad habits or addictions, most people will tell you that they feel they are in prison and they want out from their addictions, they want permanent deliverance. If this sounds like you than pay attention. Again, the Word of God says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them out of them ALL".

God's promises are conditional, that means you have to do your part and the Lord will do His part. And today, God is having me help rescue many from their affliction in a very special way. He has had me do this on two other occasions with amazing results. Without getting into more detail in this month's newsletter about the when, if, and why's, read these simple words of wisdom that brings deliverance to the captives.

Let me begin with a word picture that is designed specifically for your unique personality and for your particular situation. In the picture there is a key. The key does two things, it locks and unlocks prison doors. The prison cell is where your afflictions live, breath, and terrorize you while you are in the prison cell. You cannot get out of your cell unless you have a key. The key will open the door so you can escape the afflictions. So, after escaping from the prison cell where the afflictions live and cannot get out, do not forget to lock the prison door behind you once you get outside the prison cell.

You might ask why lock the door after I got outside the prison cell if the afflictions cannot get out when the door is open. And, the answer to that question is so that you do not go back in the prison cell again. But, if you do, it is because you took the key and unlocked the door from the outside and climbed back into the prison cell of afflictions. Again, you might ask why would anyone ever want to go back in after escaping their afflictions of drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, pornography, obesities, debt, credit cards, lying, stealing, and the list goes on. That is a very good question.

Like all successful escape plans, it is all about timing. However, in this case, you have a "KEY" to use in your escape and you get to pick the day and time to use it. Your escape will set you free from your prison of afflictions so do not forget to use it. The "KEY" is to be used on the date and time of your choice. It should be 7 to 10 days from today and begins when you start making plans for your day of escape. This is your only "KEY" and no one can take it from you, so do not forget to use it.

Now, give God thanks for your "KEY" to deliverance while you wait for the day you chose to escape. Begin giving God thanks right now for everything that is going on in your life, while you prepare for your day of escape (II Thes 5:18). Between now and the day of your escape from your afflictions, do not do anything different because you are not escaping today. Remain calm.

The last few days before your escape will be your last days of pain. Keep thanking God for the Victory that you are about to receive, then start thinking about being delivered. The feelings will come later. Do this every day until the day of your escape, after that, you will see yourself on the outside of prison doors as a Victor and no longer a victim. Glory!

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
