Sanctification, Cleansing, and Holy Living

1.   The Pure in Heart shall see God
Bless are the pure in heart: for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8).

2.   None may have part with Christ, except he wash them
If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me (John 13:8).

3.   Disciples were clean, but not all (Judas Iscariot)
He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all (John 13:10).

4.   A branch that beareth fruit is purged
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit (John 15:2).

5.   Cleansing through the Word
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you (John 15:3).

6.   Ye are not of the world as I am not of the world
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world (John 17:15-16).

7.   Sanctification is through the word of God
Sanctify them through they truth: they word is truth (John 17:17).

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
