Faith Worketh by Love (Gal 5:6)

Welcome to Cornerstone Ministries . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Christian Code of Ethics - (Saint Paul's Final Words)

Number 12 – Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves; for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief; for that is unprofitable for you (Hebrews 13:17).

Have respect for your pastor. We should respect our Pastor, and obey the word that he teaches us. We need to submit ourselves to his ministry because he watches over our souls under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We should constantly praise God for our Pastor, and be careful always to say that which is good, and uplifting about him, lest we hinder his ministry.

I knew a critical family once that serve “roast preacher” immediately after Sunday service that lasted throughout the evening supper. Children living through these conditions will draw a lasting impression of preachers and the Church as well. The Pastor will give an account of his ministry at the Judgment seat of Christ, and it will be a source of joy to God, that you came to spiritual maturity under his faithful ministry.

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
