Welcome to Cornerstone Ministries . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Paul points out four of the chief characteristics of the life of love. These are, the love of the brethren, hospitality, sympathy with those who are in bonds or persecuted, and the love of the married couple.
Number 4 – Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but whore mongers and adulterers God will judge (Hebrews 13:4).
Be sexually pure. Another sign of Spiritual maturity is personal purity in the area of sex. It was God who put the sex drive in man, and within the bonds of matrimony, it is honorable.
But the practice of sex outside of marriage is adultery, and God will judge the adulterer and whore monger. This is the inner circle. Marriage is the God-ordained type of the love of Christ to His Church. The love of God in Christ alone, can keep it pure and holy. As Christ loves and died for His bride the Church, so also the husband is to love his wife as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25).
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
