Number 6 – So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me (Hebrews 13:6).

Have confidence in the Lord. Confidence comes as the result of trusting in the Lord over a substantial period of time. We often repeat statements made by other Christians, like, “The Lord never makes a mistake”, but we have not really learned this truth for ourselves.

We only learn confidence in the Lord as we test Him over a period of time in which He never fails us. One is Spiritually mature when he is willing to submit completely to the Lord’s will, realizing that God always does that which is best for His own.

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
