Anointed Profit for May 2015
Take No
Thought
Beginning in the book of Matthew, chapter 6 and verse 33 we read and I quote “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. Most have heard portion of scripture at some time in their life and many can quote it but they have no idea how to apply it to their own life and consequently the results in their everyday circumstances remain unchanged. Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, and months turn into years and for most folks their life as they know it appears to have gotten worse rather than better.
If this describes you, I want you to know that you are not alone. Many have been deceived by the enemy when it comes to the hearing of the word of God and it would do you good to listen to my online series entitled Mark Chapter 4, as well as, my online series on righteousness because faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
Most people do not really understand what it means to seek the Lord and know little to nothing about His righteous but I am here to tell you that there is a better and richer way to live your life. God demands first position in your life and that was clearly established in the 10 commandments when God wrote in stone tablets and gave it unto Moses. The very first commandment on those stone tablets then, now, and forever was written “There shall be no other gods before me”. That literally means no other gods; not your husband, not your wife, not your children, not your job, not sports, not education, not exercise, not money, nothing.
God expect to be the number one priority in your life and you are to put Him first in everything you do from the very first moment you wake up until the going down of the sun. Talking and praying to God should be as natural as talking to your spouse, children, or your friends and associates. This is how you seek the Lord first and when you do He promises that “all these things shall be added unto you”. You might wonder what things God is talking about when He promises that “all these things shall be added unto you”. He is referring to the very things that you have been trying so hard to do with little to no results and a lot of unnecessary hardship. Things that pertain to this life that now is.
Read Matthew chapter 6, verses 25 – 34 and you will see what Jesus has to say about “take no thought”. Jesus begins in verse 25 by saying take no thought for your life and ends in verse 34 by saying take no thought for your life and gives you the recipe for success in verse 33. Get your priorities right and all these things shall be added unto you. Glory to God!
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
