Four Letter Words

Jesus says in Matthew 6:33 that if we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteous than all these things shall be added unto us. He is talking about a better way for us to live our life. A way that is free from fear, worry, stress, anxiety, and tension.

Our Father God is looking to bless us abundantly beyond all we can ask or think if we will just put our trust in Him. Jesus says in Matthew 7:7-11 and I quote "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, who if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him?"

The Bible also says in the book of Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12 that the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. If you believe that, than you know that you cannot fool God. You might be saying to yourself one thing while your heart is saying another but God knows the true intentions and what you are actually going to do. That is why it is just best to be honest with yourself and let God be God.

God's Reward System

God is no respecter of persons (Romans 2:11) and His method of operation is for whosoever. Jesus has given us 3 four letter words to use as a means to operate God's reward system. These were a mystery until Jesus revealed them to us in His sermon on the mount. As you will notice, these four letter words are no secret, Jesus spoke them over 2,000 years ago. They can be found in Matthew 6:2-18.

1. Give in secret and our Father which seeth in secret shall reward you openly.
2. Pray in secret and our Father which seeth in secret shall reward you openly.
3. Fast in secret and our Father which seeth in secret shall reward you openly.

However, God's promises are conditional. You have got to get your skin in the game if you want rewards and then be followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises (Heb 6:12). That means you have to do your part and let the Lord do His part. If you do not do your part, you can not expect God to do His part.

This is a Kingdom "KEY" and no one can take it from you. Start giving in secret, start praying in secret, and start fasting in secret and let God reward you openly. That's right, that is your "KEY", do not lose it and do not throw it away.

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
