Promises of Blessing Upon the Meek and the Pure

1.   Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3, Luke 6:20).

2.   Blessed Are They That Mourn
Bless are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted (Matthew 5:4, Luke 6:21).

3.   Blessed Are the Meek
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5).

4.   Blessed Are They That Hunger After Righteousness
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6).

5.   Blessed Are the Merciful
Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy (Matthew 5:7).

6.   Blessed Are the Peacemakers
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5:9).

7.   Blessed Are the Pure In Heart
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God (Matthew 5:8).

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
