Personal Accountability
1. Not the will of the Father that any should perish
Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish (Matt 18:14).
2. Accountability not required of those who have no light
If ye were blind, ye would have not sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth (John 9:41).
3. Sin not imputed without light
If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin (John 15:22).
4. When light comes – Accountability is required
If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father (John 15:24).
5. The disobedient to be beaten with many stripes
And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes (Luke 12:47).
6. Those who disobey in ignorance to be beaten with few stripes
But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stipes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more (Luke 12:48).
7. Judgment comes because darkness is preferred to light
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil (John 3:19).
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
