Judgements on the World
1. Woe to the world because of offences
Woe unto the world because of offences! For it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! (Matt 18:7).
2. For judgment Christ came into the world
For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind (John 9:39).
3. Now is judgment on the world that the prince of this world be cast out
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out (John 12:31)
4. Judgment falls on the prince of this world at calvary
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me (John 14:30). But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence (John 14:31).
5. Holy Spirit to reprove world of sin, righteousness, and judgment
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:8).
6. Prince of this world is judged
Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged (John 16:11).
7. Hour of temptation to come upon all the world to try them
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth (Rev 3:10).
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all (I Timothy 4:15).
